RojTV denied the allegations by the Turkish press that a bomber in Istanbul received the orders via the Kurdish satellite television and stated that it will take this matter to the court.

Turkish press reported today that the bomber who attacked a bus carrying Turkish policemen in Taksim Square received the orders via Roj TV. Some newpapers claimed that the order was given to the attacker by playing a music clip.

RojTV said these allegations were only a "comic lie and slander".

At the statement made by the RojTV directors, it was expressed that Turkish state is now trying to close their channel by using Turkish media after receiving no result from its attempts to file a suit against Roj Tv in Germany, Belgium and Denmark with forged documents.

“Receiving no result from a number of investigations, searches and courts started, Turkish state is now starting a much bigger smear campaign and trying to lay the blame of the explosion on our television channel. We are calling the Turkish state to show respect to our channel and to give up its smear propaganda” the statement read.
