Police attacks funeral of Kurdish guerrilla

Turkish police attacked the attendants of the funeral of the deceased Kurdish guerrilla Seyma Yildiz

Turkish police attacked the attendants of the funeral of the deceased Kurdish guerrilla Şeyma Yıldız. It is reported that police also raided funeral home and assaulted the women who were paying a visit to the family in order to pass their condolences.

Şeyma Yıldız, one of those four Kurdish guerrillas who lost their lives in Semdinli district of Hakkari was buried in Dogubayazid district of Agri Province. It is reported that the police attacked the funeral attendants who wanted to march after the funeral.

While the crowd started clashing with the police 10 persons were arrested and dozens of other have been injured. The clashes are reported to continue.
