A Kurdish prisoner is tortured and forced to confess alleged crimes in front of the cameras in Iran.

Reza Sharifbokhani (29) was arrested ninety two days ago in Tahran. He was kept in a single cell in Evin Prison and subjected to torture by Iranian police.

Iranian human rights organizations claim that Sharifbokhani is accused of collaboration with Iranian opposition.

According to reports posted by opposition websites Iranian police forced Sharifbokhani to confess alleged crimes in front of the camera. He was given electic shocks and beated with iron bars.

Last week he was transferred to Gohardast Prison near Kerec.

Iranian authorities barred his family and lawyers from visiting Sharifbokhani.
