BDP: Mardin is an example city for Democratic Autonomy

BDP Demirtaş says Mardin could be a model for Democratic Autonomy

Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) continues its boycott meetings in Kurdistan. Speaking in the historical town on Mardin where the Christians and Muslims communities as well as Kurds, Assyrians and Arabs are living together in peace co-chair of BDP Selahattin Demirtaş said Democratic Autonomy is a great opportunity for Turkey and Mardin is a example city for the Autonomy.

Demirtaş further stated that they consider variety of religion and ethnicities as richness of the country and during their visit in Mardin they will visit both the mosques and churches. He also said with Democracy all the ethnicities and religions will be free.

BDP will win 80 seats in the Parliament

Speaking in Midyat district of Midyat Demirtaş also called on the government to reduce election threshold. He also said that if the threshold is reduced the BDP will win at least 80 seats in the Parliament.
