Turkish army set fire on Cudi Mountain

SIRNAX, Northern Kurdistan -- According to local news reporters Turkish Army has set fire on the Cudi Mountain following the clashes broke out with the Kurdish freedom fighters.

It is reported that the fire has spread all over to Hebler, Shax and Tushimiya Valley.

Military operations started after the guerrilla’s ambush on gendarmerie and police bases in Pervari district of Siirt.

It is reported that the clashes between the PKK forces and the Turkish soldiers are escalating. The locals stated that after the clashes the Turkish air forces bombed the operation area and set fires on the forest.
