Human Rights Organization in Syria – MAF reports that Shams al-Din Khalil, aged 46, who has lived in Germany for sixteen years went back to Syria, and was stopped at the international airport in Damascus in mid-February 2010, by security services. Family and friends have had no contact with him since his arrest.
